B&Q will be running Kids Can Do It DIY Workshops throughout the Show on stand no. J30. Children will be able to choose between making a bird apple feeder, magazine box, pencil case, clock or perpetual calendar under careful supervision and all for free. B&Q kids workshops are fun and a chance for you to enjoy making something together: we'll show you step by step how to make something from scratch; we'll let you have a go yourself under the guidance of our DIY experts; we'll teach you new skills such as sawing, drilling, gluing and nailing, ages of 7-11 accompanied by a parent or guardian; and we'll provide the materials and the guidance if you can bring along the enthusiasm! You can also find out about the workshops run at your local B&Q store at Trafford Park. With more than 15 workshops to choose from there is something for everyone. One week you might be making mug holders and the next perfecting planters or building bird boxes for the garden, but all under the watchful eye of our very own kids workshops experts at selected B&Q warehouses.

For more information please visit www.architecture.com

An architect is the best investment you can make.

An RIBA Chartered Architect or Chartered Practice will help you achieve your aspirations and vision, as well as add value to your project through good design and sound construction. Undertaking a building project, whatever its scale, can be a daunting experience. When you use an RIBA Chartered Architect or Chartered Practice you are employing someone who has undertaken seven years of architectural training – no other building professional is trained in design and construction to such a level of expertise.

Why use an architect?

An RIBA Chartered Architect can help you to realise your objectives and guide you through the design and construction process. They provide a service that extends well beyond producing a set of drawings - they will handle the paperwork, bring value for money, peace of mind and imagination to your project while keeping it on track.

Selecting the right architect is one of the most significant decisions you can make. The RIBA can help you to make this decision.
